Jefferson Parish

It was under $50 a month 10 years ago with 4 of us and a pool.
Last bill was $85 a month for just me and the Mrs.

Jefferson Parish is trying to catch up with Orleans.

$53 Water/Sewer

This after fighting the infamous Ward 2 Water District in Livingston Parish for 2 years. 12 months out of 24 they misread the meter in their favor. After dragging my companies law firm into the mix they decided to play by the rules. They still misread my meter but not enough to matter.

My base rate even if I use zero gallons of water is $92
Then each gallon over 5000 is something like 3 cents. I average about $100 per month on the bill - $140 or so if I occasionally run the sprinkler system

Rate includes sewer too and that is a function of total usage. I get billed 100% of the water rate assumes 100% is going to sewer which seems like a scam but oh well

$20 - 25
Maybe a few $$ more is I have to run my garden watering system more due to no rain.
That is water only, no sewer or garbage add ons....we are on a town water system, in a rural area.

We are on our own well. In thirty + years, we've had to pay to pull the pump and replace it once. I think it was a couple of hundred dollars at the time (and a torn up side yard where the rig came in.)

Anywhere from $2-300

Sucks because we actually try to not be wasteful.

Jefferson Parish (Metairie) is about $100 every other month.

Water is cheap. Garbage and Lafreniere Park are part of the bill.

Water and sewer combined runs from $65 to $100 here, depending on how much company (kids and grandkids) we have. The split is roughly 40% water and 60% sewer. We're located in a small town in north LA.
