its not good to save it, often its dirtied by whatever you boiled.

in the past i have saved it in freezer to boil hot dogs or potatoes in when im in the mood but i quickly realized its way too much BS to do that and its easier to just mix a fresh batch in a small pot for that

Hard to believe 27 people so far have downvoted this. He's absolutely right. Given the choice between the storm drain and the sewer, the sewer is easily the better decision.

This, but it is always at night when no one is looking and I am drunk. It is almost more fun trying to do a storm drain purge under the veil of secrecy than the actual cooking of the crawfish.

This isnt necessarily the case. Some municipalities combine sewer water and storm water prior to treatment due to antiquated systems.

I know for a fact the two bars closest to my house that boil in their rigs big enough for about 10 sacks a pop just open the valves when done and down the storm drain it goes.

Then they hose the pots out to wash any residue and let that go down the drain too, followed by letting the hose run for several minutes to push the waste water farther down the drain to not stink up the place.
