As is it should remain unused - unless you need to remove some paint or something.

What do you call drinking?
Getting drunk? Or having a mixed drink a few times a month?

I don't drink. Here is the reason why:
When I was 17, one of my best friends was t-boned by a drunk driver and killed. He was a good student, making a little scratch at a part time job and was on his way home when the drunk blew through a red light at 70mph.
Two years later, his younger sister was t-boned by a drunk driver and killed. She was a good student, making a little scratch at a part time job and was on her way home when the drunk blew through a red light, only three blocks from where her brother was killed.
Their parents lost their only two children to drunk drivers. About four years after their daughter was killed, they ended up divorcing. They just grieved differently - the father was ready to move on (and away from Louisiana), and the mother never recovered from the loss.
A year after the divorce she committed suicide. A gunshot to the head.
So that's why I don't drink, and have no sympathy for drunk drivers. Their selfish attitudes and poor decisions destroy entire families.
I don't care if people drink. Get drunk. But for frick's sake, don't fricking drive.

Go some place else. It is a no fun situation.

Doesn't bother me if people around me are drinking or not. Just grab an orange juice or cranberry juice. If it bothers someone that you are taking care of yourself, do you really care anyway?

Good for them.

None of my business what others are drinking.

As long as you're not trying to pass judgment on me, I don't care.

Offer a free brethalyzer test to any drunk chicks.

If this is how you really think then you are actually the broken pussy that simply can't handle themselves like a normal person. Some people simply chose to not drink for a variety of reasons, it could be a one night/weekend deal or could be a lifestyle choice

Drink a soda water with lime or a Heineken 0. Some of the non alcoholic beers are pretty good compared to what was available in the past.

When I was younger and everyone was drinking...I would order real food. 99% of the time I didn't have to pay. The place would comp it or it would get absorbed into the tab. My, then $9..10 burger /coke was irrelevant. It was great. ( Great stories...like the guy that just had ACL surgery trying to outrun the can driver because he didn't have any cash and couldmt remember his PIN)
Now, I can remember a recent scenario where someone has had more than 2 drinks. I order what I want and no one cares what I'm drinking

Drive the drunk girl I was interested in and the drunk guy she just met back to her place.

I’m around non drinkers all the time.
Lots of times I choose not to drink in their midst. This past week, there have been 2 times I abstained while others drank.
Situations vary. I sometimes don’t make the decision until last second. Sometimes I plan it out.
Saturday, it was football games and drinking. I made game time decision to abstain. The games are the focus so it’s pretty simple.
It gets more lively amongst the drinkers and they tend to gravitate to each other. I have to make more of an effort to stay involved with them high giving and fist bumping etc.
Last night was a group watching the debate. I planned to abstain. most drank. It was easy. Just yelling at how stupid Walz is.
Tomorrow will be big party with lots of drinking . I already made decision to abstain so I make a plan. I want to talk to a few people in particular.
Later in the evening, after some people are pretty drunk, I like to get into a conversation and make moronic observations and watch their reactions. It’s fun for a while.
Sometimes it doesn’t work. Doesn’t really matter. They won’t remember the next day.
The point is- Situations differ. Making a plan is probably the best route but sometimes it doesn’t require that.

He clearly has a lot of that. He's asking other questions, not "how do I stop from drinking?". Don't have to be a dick Pop.

I certainly don't judge, I actually respect the will power a ton and have several close friends that are sober for different reasons.
I think it is natural for someone's mind to wander into the questions of "why isn't that person drinking alcohol? Religion? Past problem? Sick? Health nut?".
That doesn't mean I really give a shite whatever the answer may be, but it is natural to speculate internally.

I don't drink either..I find only the alcoholics notice and get weird if you don't drink with them..makes them super self conscious....
