What do you do first 24 hours of zombie apocalypse?
With the complete lack of a food source for zombies there I wouldn't have to worry about confronting any of the un-dead...

Go here:
Zombies won't go there because they can't eat.

food and supplies are something you can worry about later.

I don’t know but I think if you have some weapons in “Zombie Green” you’ll have a head start.

Just protect that. Gators handle the rest

Hit up the pharmacies and stockpile everything I can get my hands on. Food, non perishables, gas, generator. Ammunition. Rape and pillage. (If necessary.) Head to the camp and hunker down. Bout to finally actually start prepping. Something is going to happen.

Get to my wife’s family compound in WV.

Bug out, but steal a 1/2 ton or more truck first. Use that truck to crash into the closest pharmacy. Forget the narcotics. Grab antiboitics and other important medicines.

Assess the Situation (0-1 hour): Stay calm and gather info. Check news, social media, or radio for outbreak details—location, spread, and zombie traits (e.g., fast or slow). Confirm the threat is real to avoid panicking over rumors.
Secure Immediate Safety (1-3 hours): Stay indoors if safe, or move to a defensible location (e.g., a sturdy house or building with few entry points). Barricade doors and windows with furniture or boards. Avoid crowded areas like malls or city centers where zombies likely swarm.
Gather Supplies (3-6 hours): Collect essentials at home or nearby: water (1 gallon/person/day), non-perishable food, first-aid kit, flashlight, batteries, and weapons. Pack a lightweight go-bag with these items for mobility.
Plan Escape or Shelter (6-12 hours): Decide whether to stay put or move. If home is secure and zombies aren’t immediate threats, hunker down quietly to avoid detection. If evacuation is needed, map a route to a less populated area (e.g., rural zones) with fewer zombies. Avoid highways; use backroads.
Arm and Fortify (12-18 hours): Improvise weapons if none are available (e.g., baseball bat, kitchen knife). Reinforce your shelter’s defenses—block stairwells, secure upper floors, and create escape routes. Stay silent to avoid attracting zombies, as sound often draws them.
Connect and Monitor (18-24 hours): If possible, contact trusted allies (family, friends) to coordinate or share resources, but avoid exposing your location to strangers. Monitor radio for updates on safe zones or military response. Rest in shifts to stay alert.

I'd go to the storage facility where my travel trailer is stored and live in it for a few days. It runs completely on solar and the facility has walls that the zombies can't climb over.

I fish early early in the AM in the canals near where I live. It’s mostly homeless people out there at that time, I’ve befriended them over the last 5 years with my catches and beers. I’m quietly building a homeless person Army for this event. They know how to survive, I’ll be their King.

Hold tf up with all the supplies I've already gathered if we're all at home.
Slip/sneak home if away. Get my child and wife in that order of priority if they're away. In short, gather everyone home and weather the initial waves.
