Premium hand tools, specifically woodworking hand tools. Bench planes, block planes, joinery planes, saws, chisels, etc.

Mugs and shoes

Most of my books these days are on the Kindle, but if they weren't that would also be in the conversation.

No such thing as too much of this.

On my reorganizing project before hunting season I realized I had a warehouse worth of base layers/long johns. I could dress in a different set of them every day and never have to do laundry all season.

Books. I buy more than I can reasonably be expected to read.

Nothing anymore. All the things that used to bring joy, no longer do.

I get up, go to work, eat, go to sleep and repeat 4-5 more times each week.

Weekends or Sunday if Saturday was work, catching up with crap needing to be fixed or done. Then Monday, the cycle repeats.

Is that still a thing? I used to collect Camel Bucks back in the early 90s. Got all sorts of Camel merch. At one time I had a Camel Zippo, poker chip set, t-shirts, drink glasses, etc. I think I still have a rather threadbare Camel beach towel that’s been used as a painting drop cloth numerous times over the decades.

Jeez man. Maybe try some new stuff? That is a miserable way to go through life.

My Christmas village is getting out of control. The totes take up much of the 2 car garage. Even have ceiling racks to store more. Been building for about 20 years and it just gets bigger and better every year. Added a nice Lionel train set and it’s a lot of fun for my kids.

My wife enjoys the after Christmas sales for “next year”. She will pick up 1-3 pieces depending on what’s available. The Lionel train is my favorite though.

I start building the day after Halloween and finish a few days before Thanksgiving. This thread is appropriate for me
