Did he get arrested for that? No.

Professor Baier was a trip.
He took our Advanced Appellate Advocacy Seminar class to see arguments before the La. Supreme Court (he had both sides of the case previously come argue their side against a student earlier in the semester) and bought us all a round of Pimm's Cups at Napoleon House afterwards.

Libs love to quote this when they dox conservatives online.
When it happens to them, it’s the first thing they cry out. Looks like TDS got another one. I don’t know why it’s so hard to just avoid giving your political opinion in a classroom. Had to deal with this in my kids hs class. Everyday he woukd go on and on about Trump and this was in the middle of Biden’s term. He would lose his shite when gas prices skyrocketed and students pointed it out.
Principal had hundreds of complaints from parents. Principal refused to do anything to the teacher since she was a bleeding heart lib.

Saul Litvinoff was a good man. He lost a good bit of money in the Stanford (investments not school) scandal.

Condemnation sure, termination…nope.

Landry has to get control of the law school. He should mandate the Pledge of allegiance before every class and bring back the 10 commandments to the law center. That’s the only law that matters!

I wonder if Decuir gave Landry advice he didn’t want to hear

It’s scary and a bad look when the governor is chopping heads at lsu
That’s why lsu will never have any credibility in higher ed
That’s not the governors job no matter what a lsu employee does

For one thing, law school (outside of legal clinics and maybe moot court) doesn't actually give you any practice at practicing law. What little practice you might get doesn't include dealing with clients, judges, clerks, partners, assistants, paralegals, or other attorneys, which is what most spend the majority of their actual legal practice doing
Class of 97 here- I once asked Simmonedes why they didn't even have practical electives for things we would actually use in practice and he said, "You will learn that when you get out!" Way to prepare us!
ALSO ANONYMOUS GRADING WAS A MYTH!!! I had a professor discuss with me my grade on an exam and he did not have to look it up, he knew it.

I wish I could! I will go to my grave hating that steaming turd! I was his bitch and he would constantly call on me whenever it was a difficult question so he could embarrass me. His class was my worst grade in law school and it wasn't even close.

He was a German speaking man from Argentina who was just the right age, that I had to wonder, what did you do in the Fatherland Professor! BUT actually I didn't care because he was cool as hell!
