I've seen and heard and our company slogan one too many times. They spent a lot of money coming up with this somehow, and when they unveiled it last year, there was total silence and a few laughs in the auditorium.

This times infinity.

I used to work for a large corporation that would schedule large annual meetings attended by hundreds of employees. One year the CEO used about 15 minutes of his address to expound on how wonderful and exciting he found use of the term 'synergy' to be. I wanted to claw my eyeballs out. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconspank.gif)

I say this alot to my boss/aunt "We need to find new revenue streams" or "we need to increase revenue". She seems to be content with the current receivables, but I am not. I always give her the Tommy Boy line "In business, you're either growin or you're dyin." This is a family business, mind you, and I think my aunt is seriously mailing it in until she retires.

One of my favorites that I've been hearing one of my coworkers using lately is "Half-Pregnant".
