No offense to anyone with Six Sigma, but I want to jump off a cliff when the Six Sigma Lean-ers start spewing shite.

I hear the "parking lot" quite a bit.

My Friday mornings from 8:30-9:30 are a comedy show conference call.

Another one is sending a mass email out to the entire department or organization beginning with "All, .......". Everyone can take the hint and conclude that it is addressed to "all" recipients.

I am way too laid back and politically incorrect for this corporate world...

Nope, I would hear that frequently at manager's meeting at a company I no longer work for. The parking lot got full and nothing ever got resolved. So glad I left!

Not at all. Of course, at the end of the day my bosses are my clients, and even the ones who are more hands on with things don't micromanage.

Must suck for you to have such an adversarial relationship with your staff. Perhaps if you were a better man and a better leader, my comments wouldn't get you so riled up.

Too much low hanging fruit.

Get to the root cause of the parking lot items, scratch out some action items and put them on a roadmap to completion.
