What are your options if you witness the cops killing someone?

After watching the cop kill that man in Minnesota, I started wondering what options the people standing there, witnessing this, might have?

If it was my brother, after pleading with the officer to no avail, I'm sure I would have tackled the cop to relieve the pressure off my family members neck and just endured whatever beating/shooting the cops gave me.

But as a bystander, I'm not sure I would have done anything different than the people standing there?

Pretty much the only thing you can do is film it at that point. They already racked up one dead body, I’m sure they don’t mind racking up a second one

Then you'd both end up dead.

Family member, get involved. Bystander to a complete stranger walk away and don't get involved. I'm not saying that walking away is the correct answer or I'd be ok with myself for doing that. But me getting involved will help zero.

Yep, your poor parents would have to deal with two dead sons or best case scenario, one dead and one beat within an inch of his life and in jail for the next 25 years.

It’s not my business, I’m not winding up dead because another guy couldn’t follow a directive from a cop. Whether the cop is right or wrong, if you fight them, you will lose.

Probably. But everyone could see that man on the ground was dying. I couldn't just stand there and let someone kill a family member without trying something. But you're right, I wouldn't do the same thing for a stranger.

Collecting evidence to get the cop arrested and get justice is doing something about it.

Especially the one who felt him stop breathing from under his knee. They do not give a frick, only pride was protected and served that day.

Doing the right thing take courage

clearly you don't have it being so weak you wont even say anything.
