But don't let them see you filming. If they're willing to kill, they definitely don't care that the Supreme Court said you have the right to film them. You'll get arrested, beaten, your phone "accidentally" lost, and your vehicle forfeited.

Exactly. All the news sites would want your video instead of the shitty vertical ones

I’m an upper middle class white guy. I’d tell the police “cease immediately, officer, and free this man” and that would be the end of it.

Bitch, you are the mindless. You on TD posting stupid arse points of view throughout the entire day. You obviously suck in real life. I'd bet you're too big of a pussy-arse coward to say any of that if this wasn't anonymous.

The police are working with the deep state on a personal level?

If it was my brother, after pleading with the officer to no avail, I'm sure I would have tackled the cop to relieve the pressure off my family members neck and just endured whatever beating/shooting the cops gave me.

This

I dont understand the video taping and no action thing. If they truly cared they would have tackled the guy. I would have.

I'm by no means saying the cop was ok to stay on his neck once the other officer had gotten the cuffs on but when we say things like
quote:

felt him stop breathing from under his knee

This is only spreading lies. A: he didn't die until later, at the hospital. He was breathing. B: If you're talking, screaming even, you're breathing. He was totally coherent.

Doing the right thing take courage

clearly you don't have it being so weak you wont even say anything.

It reminds me of Troy when the little boy goes to fetch Achilles. As Achilles mounts up to go slay the other giant warrior, the boy quips that he wouldn't want to have to fight that guy, he was big and scary. Achilles looks at the boy and says "That's why nobody will ever remember your name!"

Truth! Doing courageous things are not for the timid. Many times the right thing to do falls in this category. In this case, the right thing to do was clear, remove this cop from killing the man, unfortunately courage is a tough sell these days.

Like the police, hate the police. It doesn't matter. They are undefeated.

Not all cops are this way. Heck, I'd say most aren't. But I'd bet 5% are. Sorry to say, there is zero room for error on this one.

As Chris Rock said: "This isn't a profession where 'bad apples' are ok. What if you had 5% of pilots fly into mountains, and United Airlines said, 'It's not all of our pilots, only a few bad apples,' that wouldn't go down well!"

I've been to Minneapolis. It may be the whitest place I've ever been in my entire life. Not that it means it's racist (certainly not like Boston), but it's not a good look for that town.

I pondered the same thing myself. To be honest, there really is no good option. I have never seen something like that in my life. My personal rule was that no matter what I would never get violent with the police.

But if I had to live with the fact that I watched my brother die in front of my eyes and I did absolutely nothing about it, that would eat me up inside for the rest of my life, even if I was powerless to do anything.

Chances are, I would probably tackle the officer. But that would almost guarantee that I myself get shot, or best case scenario end up with a knee in my neck.

Those options are terrifying

Not for the last 5 minutes because he was dead. And don't give me "he didn't die until later at the hospital". In most jurisdictions, even if the emergency response team knows the person is dead, they still take the person to the hospital because the death has to be called at the hospital by a doctor.
