Central High - Baton Rouge (Central)

Probably 95% white in the mid to late 70's

Per that site, now 22% black

Still one of the better performing schools and systems in Louisiana.

When I went, we had one black kid and I think a Hispanic kid or two. Not sure how many kids we had, but it's probably about the same as now, which is 409. So 99% white

I graduated from Scotlandville Magnet High back in 1998. That was the first year they started letting neighborhood kids go there. It was about 50/50 still. Now, it's a few ticks from being 100% black. EBR had a good thing going with Scotlandville Magnet and Baton Rouge High. They sure did frick it up though.

Senior year 2006 - Probably 65-70% white, 30-35% black. Honestly don't remember many if any Hispanic. Few Asians.

Now - Probably 55-60% White, 35-40% Black. Same as above with Hispanic/Asian.

No. Maybe not 99% white, maybe like 97%. Couple Indians (dot not feather), couple black kids, handful of Mexicans. Don’t remember any Asians

Early 00's, and it is about the same today as it was then.

75% white
15% black
Mixed bag of everything else.

Upstate NY high school

We had less than 10 blacks in my graduating class, and I cannot even remember if we had Asians or Latinos back then. Class size was over 600, so just going with 98% white to be safe.

Current numbers

White 76%
Asian 11%
Latino 6%
Black 2%
Mixed 4%

eta: even more [insert adjective] than I thought. Lookin at greatschools data it's currently only 3% white.

I still live here, can confirm every kid getting on or off a school bus from South Gwinnett or Grayson is 100% black, doesn't matter if it's stopped in front a poor neighborhood or a rich neighborhood. That demographic has completely taken over this part of Gwinnett, and most of them are originally from the NorthEast, Jersey, NY, PA are a lot of tags I see coming and going from all these newer subdivs out here. These are mostly middle and upper class black people. There's nothing a poor person can buy or even rent around here anymore, so that's got some perks.

Department of Defense school in the Middle East:
75% kids of active military
25% civilian kids whose parents worked in a less permissive Arab country nearby. All I got.
