Who is best to get one shipped from to an out of state friend?

Navarre’s blueberry cream cheese. Note that Navarre’s does not use cinnamon in there flavored king cakes, which I prefer. Their traditional has cinnamon.

McKenzie’s is still the GOAT traditional King Cake.
My personal favorite is Manny Randazzo’s.
I thoroughly enjoy Dong Phuong King Cakes. Though I admit part of the attraction is the hunt. And they’re good people too.

Definitely the one on Harrison in Lakeview. The Tastee in Kenner does a donut King Cake.

I use Haydels for my friends and clients.
They are good cakes of course, but they put some mardi gras stuff in the package(cup, beads, doubloons, a little magazine type of thing).
Wherever you pick, place the order soon. The shipping dates closer to mardi gras are probably sold out at the popular places.

La Baguette in Memphis has a pretty good cream cheese King Cake. I think that’s the only type they offer, but why would you want any other?!?

I just like a regular king cake with cinnamon. Not a fan of all these special fillings and such.
I don’t know who has the best, but I know the worst. McKenzie’s is the absolute worst. It’s nothing more than french bread with icing. Dry as frick. People who say they like McKenzie’s always say it’s for nostalgic reasons. Not that they actually like it because it tastes good.
