I tell you what, you get a Larry Ragusa in your mouth you gonna know it.

The thin layer of salami and olive salad is where it's at.

Actually tried a good one from Great Harvest Bread yesterday. I was impressed. It was kinda like Meche's...

Traditional king cake is good & if it’s in front of me, I will eat & enjoy.

However, I have dreams about how good the dong phuong king cake. I would make myself fat if i wasn’t careful

Yeah, it's not traditional with icing they use, but their bread is awesome. I had that Almond Cream one and it was delicious.

Last year, a friend gave me a praline king cake from Paul's in Picayune.

It was amazing.

Oak point traditional.

I also prefer the regular colored icing instead of the sugar crystals in the icing.

Have had Kellers in Youngsville(A.K.A. Kellner's), Poupart's in Lafayette, Gambino's, Rouse's, and Meche's. Poupart's was a totally different french-styled cake, good but different. Keller's amaretto is good, and if you want something really sweet and you like donuts, then the Meche's version is for you as they sell thousands each year during Mardi Gras season. My go-to the last few years has been Rouse's praline-filled version.

Cannatta’s in Houma had good king cakes

I try all different types every year but Ambrosia and Calandro’s are not good

Oak Point is probably my favorite right now - but I get Rouse’s bc it’s closer
