I didn’t talk to my neighbor for five years after apparently having an altercation with his adult daughter that I don’t remember.
She’s 100% nut job but 10/10 smoke show. Now she stops by every time she visits and things couldn’t be better with the neighbors.

Neighbor girl loved the BBC and had him stay overnight when parents were away. He was dealing drugs out of the house next door. I alerted her mother. She thanked me, acted very concerned, then never spoke to me again.

The first neighborhood I lived in had private land at the back on the other side of the neighborhood pond which I didn't think was a problem. well turns out it was a village full of Hispanics probably about 20-30 of them and they continued to expand their land and add mobile homes and more of them. They blared music all night and one of them crashed drunk into my front yard. I don't miss that place at all.

Why do people do that? It's mental illness mixed with narcissism mixed with whatever else God knows.
I have no problem with someone having a hobby and that hobby is antique muscle cars, but if you live in a neighborhood with other people nearby then show some consideration. He should have creeped it out of here really slow to wherever he is going and then he can get on it out on the hwy or something. That's what I would have done. Total jerk.

at the risk of being judgmental, he's just a bad person. He's evil.
these people enjoy making other people miserable

In Houston one time I had a weirdo I swear was a serial killer who lived above me and one night we were getting ready to go to a Halloween party and were getting dressed..around 5pm and had the music going. We turned it off as we were getting ready to leave and suddenly the entire apartment exploded with music. He must have put both his speakers on the floor and turned it all the way up.
We just laughed because we were leaving anyway.
Later that night I got home and found my car..which we didn't drive had every single window smashed.
Called the police and told them but they couldn't do anything without proof.
A couple of days later I was talking to the maintenance guy and he said he had to go to the guy's apartment to address some issue and he when he knocked no one answered so he opened the door and he said the guy was standing inside pointing a gun at him.
I moved the next day.

We lived in a neighborhood with mostly shut in old people.
My 9 year old son walked a quarter mile down the street to cut down some bamboo for a fort he was making. Someone called the police on him for being 20 feet off the side of the road by himself with a saw. The fricking police pick him up, drive him to our house in the back of a police car, and tell my wife not to let him out of her sight.
I don't look down on gen z and millennials nearly as much as I used to. Older generations created the mess we're in.

The last house we lived in had a weirdo neighbor that flew a drone over everyone's house. No idea what the weirdo was looking for but he also put the box for his penis pump in our trash can. He had a wife he disappointed daily I am sure.

Bought a 100+ acre place in 1987 and let the retard 18 year old neighbor hunt on it. In 1993 I had enough of his disrespecting other landowners and he threatened to shoot an adjoining neighbor boy who was standing on his own property. Forbid him coming on the place. He constantly shot rifles across our place with bullets passing close enough we could hear the sonic crack before we we heard the muzzle blast. He was almost 50 years old in 2018, lived with his 70 year old mother who babied and enabled him. Got a restraining order, the judge nailed him down tight, didn't allow gunfire, fireworks, firearm replicas, the whole 9 yards. He kept violating the restraining order. Judge ordered the sheriff to bring him to jail.
Sheriff himself came out with 3 deputies to take him in. They pulled guns on the sheriff. Sheriff killed both of them. The retard missed the sheriff by about 2 inches with a load of buckshot.

I am the neighborhood horror.
They set up a neighborhood watch group because of me when I was in the throes of my addiction and alcoholism.
That was nearly 10 years ago

muscle car that is loud as crap
When I first moved into my house I had a neighbor who had a couple of those “West Coast Chopper”-style motorcycles. He would randomly open his garage, crank one up and just sit there…revving the engine.
The final straw happened around 9:30 on a Sunday night. The wife and I had just gone to bed and he cranked up one of the bikes. I got dressed, walked outside and asked him if he realized what time it was. His response: “Oh, I didn’t know we had a curfew”, and that I should call the cops if I didn’t like the sound of his bike.
So I obliged him. From that moment forward I called the sheriff’s office every time I heard him crank up the bike. Every time his kids blasted rap music while washing their cars in the driveway. Again and again. The deputies came to hate the guy and his kids as much as I did. They finally sold the house and moved, and the family who lives there now is the best.

My current neighbor is a young, white trash red neck. He leaves his dog in a horse trailer during the summer months. Works on his dirt track car after 10 at night and when he lets the dog out, he allows him to take giant shits in my yard.

I was the bad neighbor. Pooping in their front yard always gave me a charge

I lived in a shotgun duplex next door to a musician who had severe Asperger’s. He was in his 60s and had three pieces of furniture in his apartment - a mattress, a grand piano and a piano bench.
He’d play these really long, extemporaneous piano compositions which were actually pretty cool to have bleeding through the walls. But he’d also spend a lot of time on the front porch smoking cigars and yelling about how stupid everyone was.
He was nice to me and we’d talk occasionally but he was always a hair trigger from flipping out and going off on me about some benign thing I’d say in passing conversation.
All told, it was an interesting neighbor experience but you’d have to be prepared to interact with him when you came home - which I wasn’t always in the mood to do.

I had a neighbor who lived 2 doors down that allowed her golden retriever to crap on my pristine lawn every day. She would walk her heathen kid to the bus stop daily then take her dog off the leash and allowed her dog to unload on my lawn before returning home. A neighbor advised me of this travesty and I watched her do this 3 times . I calmly knocked on her door then advised her that I had witnessed the violation 3 times and to please cease and desist. She told me to go pound sand but it never happened again. She hated my guts forever.
The first time you saw her do it, you should have gotten a shovel, scooped it up, followed her home, and flung it up on her front porch.
