When I was 28 a visiting nurse at my grandmother's house checked my BP. It was 150/100. Basically been on BP medication for 43 years. At present on Norvasc and Bisoprolol. Just checked my BP at 138/74, pulse 69. ...
Have you tried getting a tractor or vehicle starter rebuilt lately (the Chinese aftermarket ones are junk)? How about getting a hydraulic cylinder repaired?...

Corn is not a natural food for carnivores. It causes serious health problems for dogs. Always check the ingredients....

The main ingredient in most cat and dog food is corn which is cheap and unnatural food for a carnivore. If you live in the country and have freezer space you can easily find someone with an unwanted donkey or Shetland pony you can butcher and have a large supply of good healthy food for your animal....

re: Any chicken farmers on the board?

Unless you just have to have a sad story about your ruined life stay away. Run, don't walk. Drive around and talk to failed chicken farmers who lost their farms or sold them to get away. Or buy yourself a chicken farm and just when you think you see a little daylight and can make a dollar you have t...
How will this young man be able to face his friends?...

The big problem with a LEO in a fight is the fact that the officer has a loaded gun on his person and out of necessity it is readily available. All officers in their basic training are taught to maintain possession of their weapon at all costs, even if deadly force is necessary. I was taught to shoo...

Just wondering, what is the average amount of diesel and gas burned to produce a gallon of ethanol? Any idea?...
A man (at least a male) teaching kindergarten is strange. I would be leery of any man teaching small children or working in a day care. ...
"No way I would ever buy new drivers anything other than a beater. Just makes good sense to me.
I bought all 3 of my kids "beaters" for their first car and I'll be darned if all three didn't get totaled. 2 of them were the other guys fault and my youngest daughter caused hers. I also w...
You're in for a shock when you bring a lady home and see the Mormon underwear
Is it one piece? Can they remove it or do you have to work around it?...
This is crazy. I am all for a roll in the hay with a willing lady but what is mentally wrong with folks getting this deranged over having their way with this kind of obsession with sex? With drugged unconscious victims (and animals) and kids under 13 no less. I guess it comes down to there being no ...
What would possess someone to video a crime they themselves were committing? How in hell did they find out about the semen in the cupcakes? Maybe they videoed that too?...
Heartwarming story. Crime thwarted, criminal dead, no trial, kid's mama safe, perp's two little boys don't have him for a role model. Only downside is the 2 surviving perps, and even so maybe now they'll find Jesus. ...
It is really hard to argue against military victory. His (Grant's) victory was complete and total victory. He recognized his strength and used it. The South could have used Washington's and Ho Chi Minh's tactic of avoiding going head to head with a superior force and possibly worn the North down. Le...
Somebody likes Generac. When I bought my Generac 4 years ago I bought 100 shares of stock in Generac for $50 a share. Today it is $337....
During our last outage several people I know had their NG supply go down. No gas = no generator. I believe the Generac is easy to swap back and forth from propane to NG. NG gives less KW than propane but is much cheaper. If it were me I would keep a couple hundred gallons of propane on hand for NG s...
Diesel machines are the most expensive and fuel can go bad, so I would stay away from diesel unless you can keep a large amount on hand and keep freshening it with new deliveries such as a farmer or trucker would do. Also keep spare fuel filters and school yourself on changing them without air locki...
Also I would do an oil change at 100 hours. That is about the interval you change car oil. 100 hours X 50mph = 5000 miles and that air cooled generator is running hotter than a car and getting the guts run out of it with no down time in an extended outage. Any engine run too hot and low on oil is go...
