My first reaction is that this is dangerous because we don't know what it will be about, but I might can be convinced it could be fun. I read a couple of examples that are craft-making or something, to us that would be torture.

it's honestly not that bad, takes you out of your comfort zone on some of them but they can be fun

We did the thrift store one the other day. I about puked putting on a shirt and I called the end to the thrift store and went to Burlington coat factory, it’s close enough to a thrift store and the clothes didn’t smell like someone wiped their arse with them.

I find it a lot of fun and we have been doing things we wouldn’t normally do.

From the website:

quote:

50 Scratch-Off Adventures

Make a memory! With this book as your guide, you and your significant other will grow in new levels of your relationship through adventures and experiences you will never forget.

The catch? Your adventure is a surprise until you scratch off a challenge. It’s like scratching a lottery ticket but you win every time! Whether you’re cooking a delicious apple pie (blindfolded), re-creating your grandparents' very first date, or painting a masterpiece on a unique canvas… you will find spontaneity, romance and zest in your relationship as your adventure challenges unfold.

Who is this for?

It doesn’t matter if you’ve just started dating or celebrating your 50th anniversary, this is the book for you! If the Couples Edition was a movie we would rate it PG. Feel free to adjust the rating. ;)

How much are the challenges?

There are 50 challenges that range from $0-$50, but they can all be modified to fit within your budget.

No take backs!

Once it's scratched off, you HAVE to do it. No matter how silly, we promise it'll be worth it. It's time to discover something new about yourself. Simply choose a category together, then scratch off your adventure!

Hint: There's a time and money guide over each box to help you decide.

Don't forget to take a picture and journal your experience! When you finish, you'll have a keepsake to look back on.

there are different books so it's just choosing what you want to do

A new MacBook pro likely. An expensive gift but her current Mac book is a 2011 model. So it'll get some use.

We set a hard $100 limit this year

Got her a notebook, board game, a few books, and $30 left for stocking knick knacks.

Be sure and get something practical like a toaster or an iron, maybe some hangers for the closet. Women love practical gifts.
