That is exactly what I do. I don't want to be sitting in the traffic anymore than anyone else but that doesn't give them permission to drive on the shoulder. Like I said, I will block to where all 4 of there tires must go into the grass if they want to continue driving like that past my vehicle.

Same here. I want to be a cop for a week. I would never sleep, I would just roam the roads and "teach" people what they are doing wrong on the road. any back talk they get tased and all 4 tires slashed.

The switch from one light going red to a perpendicular light going green is instantaneous in New Orleans. There is absolutely no room for error. I have actually seen some green lights jump in front of reds on occasion.
In every other city, there is a 1-3 second pause between the red and green

That stretch is very annoying. Had to go through them for quite a bit of my life.

The school zone on Claiborne near MLK might be the most ignored I've ever seen. I did see a cop walk out into the street and point people to pull over once. That was pretty intense.

New Orleans area:
Stop signs - Stop until everyone else coming is also stopped. Even if they won't cross paths.
Red Lights - two points:
1. Not using turn signals which ties into the following point
2. Not turning but instead pulling into the intersection to turn behind the opposing traffic who might also be turning; thereby blocking the intersection (especially if other cars follow the cars forward not knowing they are turning).
Stop signs - Stop until everyone else coming is also stopped. Even if they won't cross paths.

See, that's a good game theory puzzle here. Do you stop? Sure, if you stop, you're going to get a ticket and if you keep going and the cop comes after you, you're definitely getting more than just a speeding ticket.
But, if the cop goes after you, he loses all the tickets for the cars he already pulled over, so there's some point at which the cop won't come after you and you get off scot free.
What's the optimal move?

I had a similar moment happen on the interstate where I thought a cop pointed at me while he had another car pulled over. I said, frick that I'm going to act like I never saw that. Turned out OK.

No left turns in parts of New Jersey. I went miles waiting for an intersection allowing me to turn left. I gave up and turned right, turned around in a parking lot and went straight across. Also, all gas stations in NJ are full service. It's illegal to pump your own gas there.

Oh, two lane road where you can't get around him. Only time I ever saw it, this crazy sumbitch was standing under an overpass in the right lane of I-10 WB in Baton Rouge waving people over.
Of course, as you were speeding toward him, you could only see his car and not the four or five of his buddies parked in front of him ready to chase down the people that didn't pull over.
The game was rigged that day.
