Likely so but they all add a new feature and market it right and people are convinced it’s a game changer.... marketing 101

Frankly, appliances like washing machines and dishwashers have passed their innovation limit
Much better before.
Why do new ones take 3 hours to wash the dishes?

They have them on amazon. I'd link it but I'd probably get banned.

Commercial Air Travel

Engines can't get any bigger without air resistance hurting performance

Planes can't fly faster without guzzling fuel and breaking the sound barrier which causes a lot of issues on the ground.

Were they quicker before?

Not a joke - I feel like I've only lived as an adult in the era of 3-4 hour dishwashing cycles

One thing I’m blown away hasn’t seemed to stop is the size of consumer computer processors. They get smaller and smaller every year and seem to at a steady pace

Moore's law is reaching its theoretical limit soon so this is going to stop.

Moore's law already reached its limit in 2010.

BUT computational processing power is still very much in its infancy.

We are still in the "candlelight" phase of computing...Just wait til Quantum computing becomes mainstream... We will be left in marvelous wonder... just like people seeing electric light for the first time after going their lives using candles.
