The word "uber". People use it as if it means "very". The actual meaning in German is "over".

Seems like I hear it in every interview or analysis.

I'm 66, so I know exactly where you're coming from. When I was a kid, it was always "yes maam, yes sir, Thank you, No thank you, excuse me, I'm sorry-----and it's best you meant it and not just spoke the words.

Agree 100%. I know it's not a fricking problem...you work here. Despite that, I said Thank You when handing you money for the thing I just bought because I'm not an a-hole. The least you can do is look up at me and respond with You're Welcome. Now get off my lawn...

You and I would get along great. I’ll take it a step further. If I say thank you while handing you money, you SHOULD reply, “no, thank YOU!” Since I just spent money at your business.

sounds like you guys are describing some type if retail environment. different.

“Bucket list” - real meaning vs. how it’s used makes no sense.
“It is what it is” - Wow, never realized that!
The misuse of the word “ironic”, probably the most misused word in the English language by professional TV and Radio folks.
Responding to almost every question with “So,”

I know, right.

That line is like nails on a chalkboard. I find it's only used by broads.
