And you're driving the cuck's crap to Louisiana even though you don't want to? Hmmm.

That fact that they ever lived. FIL was a child molester and MIL spent her life protecting him.

Love my future in-laws. Her mom calls her ~6 times a day for stupid shite, though.

Same. Both of them are great, but the mom just won't let go and still tries to control every aspect of my wife's life. It's really annoying and honestly just puts more stress on our marriage.

Just haul it off and donate it?

My MIL tried to give me a 65in tv over Christmas as she's moving.

My response: where would I put it? My bathroom?

I would take a dime from her, much less a $2600 tv.

You do favors. You don't get favors. Mob style.

I have fantastic in-laws.

But their one flaw is they baby and spoil my wife so much that I'm worried she's going to lose it when they pass away.

But other than that, they are just awesome people.

My in-laws are cool. The only downside is that my MIL works for an interior designer, and my wife used to work for the same designer. So, when they get together all of their ideas tend to revolve around spending money on furnishing our house. I appreciate it, but they have expensive taste

My SO's dad died, but her mom is great and stays completely out of my hair. She doesn't give a shite and does her own thing.

My father in law is a very strong “sniper” type personality. Everyone has met this type before- makes personal criticisms masked by sarcasm, tries to appear superior by turning all conversations into a quiz, etc. He can be an intolerable, mean-spirited bully after drinking.

He’s not a bad person though. After 10 years I’ve learned to immediately call him out when the covert shots are fired. I enjoy conversations with him now, but cringe watching others try to interact with him at family functions.

My mother-in-law is perfect in every way. If I had to choose my husband and in-laws separately, I would have still chosen the same people. I’m lucky.

My FIL worked for NASA and was on the ground for the famous Apollo 13 "We have to build this with that" scene where they built a filter using duct tape and other stuff that was on board.

He said it wasn't very much like the movie because there were a lot more people working on it than the 10 or so and they weren't all in Houston. My FIL was actually in Huntsville and they were on the conference line with Houston. The President actually called them to talk about their options and he got to be in the room for that.

He doesn't talk much, but he's so damn smart. Incredibly nice and humble, but has stories from the Army and NASA that are just mind blowing.

For Christmas, he gave us an original blue print of the Saturn V rocket. Its crazy cool.

Mine are super nice people, mainly boring, so really nothing to hate.

I do get bored, when we go over there for normal days, and everyone is on their phones, and i'm sitting there like a tool. I said screw this and now bring my tablet w/keyboard and troll the net.

My mother in law is too peppy. I fricking hate that shite. She is loud, obnoxious, never shuts her damn trap. You can't even sit and watch 5 minutes of a football game or the news with her without her running her mouth on every play or every story. frick. SHUT UP!

And my sister in law is too dependent. Can't do anything for herself. There is a thing called google maps and GPS and she will still call and say "how do you get to...." frickING put it in your GPS.

mine are fricking clueless..especially lately so I'll take the chance to vent....

I have a man cave, the center of which is my dart board.. It's a really nice wood framed fiber board that I LOVE and play on all the time. For christmas they got me a $20 plastic one from wal-mart and were shocked and seemingly kinda irritated when I did't love it when I opened it... I did my best to be nice about it and so oh thanks...but that's nothing

We are actually engaged and like most girls my fiance is really loving soaking up every aspect of the wedding planning process. Her and her sister in law are really close and she she was going to ask her to be a brides maid. She had planned out taking her out telling her how much she means to her and asking.... well her mom decided for some stupid fricking reason to tell her that my fiance was gonna ask her that and texted all proud saying that she would love to. She really feels like she had that moment taken from her and her mom has NO IDEA what she did wrong

There are literally dozens of moments each minute I'm with these people that make it clear how little social awareness they have, but these are loomling large lately.
