Agree with the food recs. Here are a few of our favs: Hall's Chophouse - great steaks, high end dining; Fleet Landing - cool atmosphere, good seafood; Gin Joint - unique cocktail bar; Burns Alley Tavern - dive bar

Just checked tee times and its $134 for weekday round and $164 for weekend. Sheesh - how long has it been this high? Been a year or so since I have played.

TPC a two weeks after the Zurich is running $139 on the weekends.

Was in CBD last month for work and saw a bum with a booksack that had "NARCAN" written in big permanent marker and an arrow to a zipper pocket. Presumably for whenever he undoubtedly ODs, the first responders won't have to search very hard.

Thought it was odd that he offered all the Mother's Day well wishes to his mom after he won last weekend, but did not acknowledge his wife or Poppy. I mean I know it's not his mom, but you typically see these guys give some props to their wives. Make sense now, considering he filed for divorce the following day.

Garage Door Repair Recommendations

Looking for someone to come fix, or potentially replace, my broken garage door - any recommendations in the Baton Rouge area?

I think the motor is fine but (from what I can decipher on YouTube/Google) the garage door arm bracket ripped off the actual door. I might be able to get away with just replacing or reinforcing the bracket, but not sure.

Was bartending a book signing event for one of his books. I was setting up the bar in the reception area before the crowd moved from the auditorium into the reception area. In walks Edwin Edwards and his wife, Trina, and she was chewing his arse. Kept setting everything up while eavesdropping on their conversation. Trina said, "I can't believe you called me Candace!"

Hopped on the Google. Candace was his second wife. Trina, his third, was pissed. He just sat there and took the arse chewing without saying a word. :lol:
