The same guy has also retold very specific stories about himself that were word for word the same stories I had told him about myself. He has done that twice in meetings with me there. It is so bizarre and I never have the heart to call him out on it.

Guy who claimed he had a scholarship offer to play WR for North Alabama. Not that incredible of a lie on the surface, but this guys only football experience was as a 3rd stinger on our 8th grade team. Every year in HS he would say he was going out for the team in the spring but would always "tear his ACL" or claim some other injury that would prevent him from playing that year. Even went as far as to waddle around on crutches for a week or two a couple times to try and sell his lie. This was a 5'8" white kid of average athleticism, and UNA was a D2 powerhouse at the time.
He actually did join the Army after HS, but of course before he left he had to claim he was being recruited for an elite SEALS sniper unit

that is so strange, but he is probably so dumb he thinks he is retelling you a story someone else told him

One of my former employees had this drug-head son that played guitar in a local band. He told me in all seriousness that his son was going to be playing on the Conan O'Brien show.
The sad part is the son probably told him that, and he was so gullible that he believed it.

That kid that faked the Cal recruitment was all time incredible lies hall of fame material

Been told I'm Asian and that they've seen the pics for proof.

Recruits with no offers thinking LSU is on the verge of pulling the trigger

A guy I know claims he's buying a $1.2 million piece of property with no money down, because his credit is so great.

Did we go to the same high school that has blue and white as school colors?

My son plays 9 and 10 playground ball, his coach told me some of the kids throw in the 70s...

Use to work with a guy who always said he and another teammate both pitched over 100mph. He went to a podunk school that has never produced an athlete outside of HS.

I have to laugh because I have a friend that has done the same exact thing to me numerous times. The first time I said nothing. The other two times I told him he was telling me a story that I originally told him. Yes, it's extremely frustrating.

An old guy still claims that there's a giant sea serpent in the San Francisco bay and the Coast Guard is covering up its existence for some reason.

Went to high school with a habitual liar, it would be funny/annoying if it weren't a bit sad
Grew up down the street from a guy that told some whoppers. One I best remember was when he was in the 4th grade and claimed he already had a full scholarship offer to Duke.
He never even went to college and is now a cop, but is too fat for normal patrol and has a desk job.

One of my friends from high school was like this.
Claimed that he once caught a 25 pound bass in the 40 behind his house.
We had an online dynasty on NCAA '12. He claimed that he had to restart the game he was getting blasted in because a "white ford ranger" crashed into his bedroom window. (not sure why he got so specific)
Told us this story about how his uncle was deer hunting and was attacked in the woods by a monster with "black xbox controller shaped wings"
These are the three stories that stick out, most of the time he was fine but always just tried to one up your story pretty much. Was cool if it was just you and him or only a few people, but always tried to show off in front of large groups.

Evidently everything I say on here people think I am lying, at times I have proven things.. But I just mark it up to the fact 80% of the board are full blown idiots.

Alpha. You have the balls to do that, you deserve a 6 figure salary.

A guy from school told me he once threw a Nerf football through a pine tree.

Teenage boy told me that his grandpa cut 150 acres with a sling blade in an hour.
Then got all butthurt when I told him he was full of shite
“That’s my grandpa who I only met once who is dead and that’s what they told me!”
He also insisted that the periods in baseball were called “endings”

There was also this kid I went to middle school with. The shite he spouted was so ridiculous it still makes me laugh to this day.
His dad worked with Bobby Jindal and shook his hand every day (we did not live close to Baton Rouge).
He had a girlfriend, but she went to school in Canada of course.
His dad was personal friends with John Deere.
He already had the "Xbox 720".
The first time he went hunting he killed a 26 point buck.
He already had a full scholarship to Harvard.
Basically this all culminated in the kid promising this black kid that he would give him a free psp because "his dad knows the owner of Sony". When this inevitably didn't happen, the black kid got really pissed and wrote on the kids arm using an ink pen "give me my psp". The liars parents freaked out and changed schools after that year.
