What are best SEC engineering schools?

Youth im talking to, wants to major in engineering . he has no direction. He doesnt want to go to LSU ( he is frum BR). What are other schools in SEC that are good engineering and not horrific to go. Also , what are other private schools good for engineering , is Vanderbilt or tulane good? USC?

There are accredited publications that come out with these exact lists each year. I would consult them before the OT. But A&M is usually highly ranked relative to SEC schools

Should I mention MIT and Caltech just so we can get the ball rolling on the posts where people say their companies hired MIT grads and they all sucked so bad that they now hire UNO grads exclusively because they learn "real world" shite?

Why in the hell is someone basing what college he will go to on which athletic conference they compete in?
There are plenty of good engineering schools in the SEC, but it's bizarre to require that their athletics compete in the SEC.

There are different types of engineering. Some schools are better at some and worse at others

What are his grades? Is he dumb, smart, or brilliant? The answer changes.
