Embrace the tenants of Stoicism
Allow yourself an hour each day to be contemplative, without an distractions.
The first, and only debt that you should have is your first house.

Education is the most important thing you can do for yourself. Never stop learning, especially about science.
Shun religion. It’s a lie that leads you down a rabbit hole of mind control by others. Focus on the reality of the natural world and its awesome wonders.
Take your time finding a life partner. Maintain your own personality and find someone who complements it. Reject those who want to change you to their liking. Also, accept your partner for who they are and don’t try to change them. Some change will come naturally to both of you.
Enjoy life. You’re part of the only known species that can ponder the future and observe the universe.

Off the top of my head:
What matters?
Family. Good health starts early. Save 10% of every paycheck. Get your education or trade.
What doesn’t matter?
About 90% of the bullshite you think is important as a teenager and young adult is just that….bullshite. So don’t sweat it.
Relationship advice:
Don’t rush it. Nothing in the book says you have to constantly be dating someone or be in a relationship just because your buddies are. Take your time and find someone worth the effort and reciprocates in kind.
Spiritual advice:
I’m not the best to consult on this but I do believe Jesus is Lord, and that faith and prayer are very powerful things.

What would you tell them? What matters? What doesn’t matter? Relationship advice? Spiritual advice?
Who you marry is the most important decision you will ever make.
Own that decision for the rest of your life.

Don’t let 2 minutes of fun ruin your future, keep it in your pants and concentrate on your future.

Keep things simple. You're only here for a little while. Enjoy it without getting bogged down by trivial bullshite.

My advice to the young is to ignore most of the advice that old folks give (except compound interest) and go live life. The world is constantly evolving and today’s advice is tomorrow’s joke of the day. Go your own way and enjoy your one trip around the block.

Among the many things already posted….
The definition of insanity… doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result …..
Learn when something is not working to make a change… learn from your mistakes.
