When that screen would stay steady for a fraction of a second and you got a full definite nude female body and could confirm :kermitfroglotiongif:
I remember watching scrambled porn at my grandparents condo in NOLA when I was like 13, alone at like 3am. I didn't know what I was seeing, but it made me feel funny, in a good way.

LUCKY. The spank bank would have been filled for a month after that stare down
It was probably more like 2. Just like thinking you had sex for 20 minutes and it was 8

Class of 85.
I think it was the best. But obviously partial.

Yeah, but relatively speaking finding someone's older brother's stash of porn mags was awesome.

Yes it was. Baseball cards and comic books were cheap. Cable tv had 13 channels and that was plenty and it was also cool to sometimes turn the rooftop tv antenna toward a different direction and watch different syndicated tv shows.

I’d say the best time to be a kid was from 1955-1965

Let me tell you how awesome being a kid in the 80’s was:
My 5th grade field trip, we went to the French Market. There were vendors back then who sold martial arts weapons, which we purchased in full view and with the blessing of our teachers and chaperones. We’re talking Nunchucks, butterfly knives, ninja throwing stars, etc. we then brought them on the bus and back to school and no one raised an eyebrow.

Damn right. We had Transformers, GI Joe, He-Man, and Ninja Turtles.

I’m about as much of an 80s as you can get. I turned 10 on May 5, 1980. A big chunk of my childhood and all my teen years were in the 80s. And I have to say, yes, the 80s were far and away the best time to be a kid or teen. I honestly pity those who missed it.

What’s interesting is the 80s were actually the most dangerous time to be a kid in America
Violent crime was at an all time high. It’s amzing what the media has done to make people beleive the opposite

THIS!

The thing of it though is unless you lived in a shithole ghetto neighborhood, violent crime was nothing more than something you heard about of the six o’clock news.

My dad used to send me down to the neighborhood store to buy him some cigars. He'd give me 50 cents more than I needed so I could get some candy or gum for myself. The guy who owned the store knew everyone in the neighborhood and what everyone's brands were, so I just had to tell him when I walked through the door that I was there to get some cigars for my dad and he'd get my dad's stuff together while I picked out my stuff. I was like 12 years old. Buying cigars. Also candy and gum.
I fricking miss the 80's and the freedoms we had that have slowly but surely been whittled away. Lawn darts, too. I miss lawn darts.

I was born in 78. My entire childhood was in the 80’s, teens in the 90’s. I always say, my childhood was so great it makes my adulthood seem disappointing.

Just because people were ignorant of the things that were happening around doesn’t mean things were great
The 80s and 90s were all time highs for violence, crime, drugs, teen pregnancy, etc.
They were not great. People were, and still are apparently, ignorant.

I enjoyed growing up in the 80’s and early 90’s.
