Gods, I hope so. I hope that at the first touch of real, honest bloodshed (on a scale not seen in the inner cities every day) we recoil and reevaluate exactly what we are.
That’s the best scenario.
But when people are hungry? When inflation is out of control? When normal men must spit on their hands, hoist the black flag and start slitting throats?
The farther this country is divided the easier it is to draw lines and the easier it is to draw lines the easier it is to paint along those lines.

Working for the Cz Gov. during this war, read UN reports EU reports on the atrocities and met Serb “refugees” I recall hating the Serbs with the same enthusiasm our family hated Nazis during WWII. Evil incarnate. When Slobo and Ratto were captured literally popped Moët and toasted the UN War Crimes Tribunal and AMERICA. I watch enough Euro football to see these cacksuckers play every now and again and set aside my no cheering injuries rule. What an absolute shitstain of a “country”

Sounds like Africa, ME, central and South America....pretty much any third world shite hole

Similar. Biggest difference (in my experience) is that they can describe atrocities from hundreds of years ago and still be angry about them today. They will be standing in the wreckage of their current country (which they caused) and will be talking about things that happened four hundred years ago. It is absolutely crazy.
Honesty reminds me of what our political leaders are trying to do today.

Except there was that whole civil war thing about 100 years into the infancy of America.
Yes because America today is culturally the same as 1800s America. We’re the same hearty, tough frontiersman yearning for freedom and the pursuit of opportunities.

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson been warning against a return to this shite, but nooooo, the far left and the five 4Chan edge lord bugaloo boys won't listen.

Have you been on the poliboard? They routinely call for the death of leftists, and I'm sure there are far left message boards that call for the same to be done to rightists.

Based on the rhetoric of the last few years, I 100% believe this stuff is not only possible but inevitable here. Only food and lights are stopping it from happening.

Ok, but get out of the city, in case you're wrong.

They don’t call for the death of people

Just a wee bit of hyperbole in his post

Man, the Serbs were some evil people.
I'm not in a position to defend the Serbs, so do not misunderstand the next things I'm going to say:
Everyone fights this way in the Balkans going back to the Turks. 700+ years of this in the Balkans. The danger is that the international community singled out the Serbs when the Croats, Bosnians, outsiders, literally everyone committed atrocities. Ethnic cleansing is ugly. I didn't find individual Serbs any worse or better than other folks in the former Yugoslavia. I had the most exposure to Albanians. They aren't anything like you would imagine, either.
It is just a really different place from what our minds can truly contemplate.

Bingo. Brutality is a part of life, most Americans are so separated and pampered they have no idea what the rest of the world goes through.
Its impossible to condemn in whole due to the brutal history of all parties in that region. On in individual basis, absolutely. But as collectives, nah. That's what collectives do.

I've been there. From Zvornik to Srebenica there were really horrible acts of genocide committed. I spent a year there in 1999 patrolling that area. Really, really bad shite. The Drina Wolves were the worst I dealt with.
There's another poster here that claimed to have been in the area on some sort of mission and said that it was mostly propaganda and overblown by the media and there was no genocide there.
