For around the house stuff get an electric one and stick with the same brand so you can use one battery in all of them. The electric chainsaws are a game changer.

If you’re doing heavy work or for bigger jobs get Stihl.

My Echo blower and weedeater have been good to me for the last 5 or 6 years.

I have had an Ego trimmer and blower for a couple of years.

Great products. I love electric yard equipment. So much easier than having to go get gas at the store and keeping gas cans in the garage.

I have both Ego and black and decker weed eaters and blowers. I upgraded to the ego and it's much heavier duty with more serious batteries that last through my entire session without needing to be swapped. Only downside to the egos are that they are a lot heavier, so the black and decker still have an application if I just want to do some light work, or need more precision.

As far as gas vs battery, it's really nice to build out your powered tools ecosystem where they all use the same battery that you can switch to whatever you need. One battery and one charger, maybe a few spare batteries if you're working all day, and that's all you need.

I always have something to complain about and can’t think about one thing I’d complain about with any of the 6 Ego lawn tools I own. I’m going into year 6 with the Ego blower and string trimmer and they still work just as good as the day I bought them.

I would just say get the ego that’s interchangeable. I like it because of the brush cutter attachment.

Anyone use a non gas mower? Thinking about retaking my lawn duties back over. Not a huge amount to mow anymore since we put a pool in a few years ago but i hate maintaining gas equipment and jjggling and refilling gas cans all the time.
