I will bet every penny I have if we had universal mask compliance there would be some other issue raised and the goalposts would be moved yet again. Because that’s what happened with all of the other “If we do x, then things can go back to normal.”

Yeah, if I have to stay home except for necessary trips in order to have college football, I'll pass on college football and it's not close.
There is no reason to stay home. And, there is no reason college football can't be played except that people are waiting for something that will never come.
