um, you do know that the generation prior to "The Greatest Generation" survived WWI, Prohibition, Great Depression, WWII, the 60's Best and Camille.

fairly confident that has us beat.

Pretty sure those who went through WW1, Great Depression and WW2 chuckle at all of us now.

The Civil War crew would also be laughing.

I am only pointing out Gen X because they are the ones who entered the workforce in the mid to late 90s and are still out there today. They were probably the most impacted by all of these events combined than any other generation.

Older Millennials were the 18 year olds that changed their life paths following 9/11.

Millenials entering the workforce and retiring boomers were impacted much more by the 2008 recession. It's not even close when comparing Gen X.

How the frick were Xers more adversely impacted by a local flood or a virus that kills the elderly?

Gen X may be the most insecure generation of all time. Like the middle child.

Just wait until an asteroid hits or we get invaded by extra terrestrials.

Everything else will pale in comparison.

Yeah Rita sucked. Was Irma the one that knocked out power for like 2 weeks? I just remember trees snapping like twigs and not that much rain.

Almost every event you listed has some sort of government bailout attached to it.

Millenials = the freeloader generation
