- 2001 9/11
- 2005 Katrina
- 2008 Great recession
- 2010 BP Oil Spill
- 2016 Flood
- 2016 BR Riots
- 2020 Da rona

Could this generation (X) be dubbed the most resilient generation? Here's to the next 20 years being less memorable.

3 CFB National Championships in same time period shows there’s always some sunshine that’s shining during tough times.

Every generation faces or will face trying times and hardships. It's part of life.

Generation X has handled things beautifully. The millennials are going to be screwed when they have to be responsible and handle disasters with such grace.

I did not say it was about survival. Every one of these moments had a significant impact on the people who lived through it. Either emotionally, physically, or psychologically.

I am only pointing out Gen X because they are the ones who entered the workforce in the mid to late 90s and are still out there today. They were probably the most impacted by all of these events combined than any other generation.

Have you considered WW 1 and 2? The Civil War?

Outside of the U.S., how about the plague that took out 33% of the population in Europe.

We've had it easy.

Take any 20 year period and you are going to have a lot of significant events that shapes the generation.

And the end of the Les Miles era. Those were very lean times.
