I said in the 90s buddy
No more gangs in New York in the early 2000s? Wow, that's incredible.

Did the crime rate go down yes or no?
Yep, just like everywhere else.

But thanks for proving my point. Crime is back because they go soft on crime again.
Crime is lower in NYC today than it was when Giuliani left office, you tit
Per usual, SFP is right. Shocked that Knuckle Dragger is wrong.

No such thing. It's a hurtful and offensive stereotype.

Why can we end black gang violence? They are way less sophisticated, have no money, and aren’t paying politicians/police off.
Ironically, the government ended the mafia, but created black gangs, thanks a lot LBJ!

Are gang shootings up or down over the last 10 years at the mall of Louisiana?
How about those facts.

That’s a great graph buddy.
No one gives a shite our thinks that everything is ok in metro areas. We see it every day. There is gang violence and shootings at LSU games and the mall. No one cares about your graph.
Holy shite... I know you said I wouldn't post again, but you really, really shouldn't have posted again. Better to remain silent a thought a fool, brother

Not in large numbers... the problems are far more ingrained than that.

We simply lack the balls to do it. Everyone is afraid of being called a “racist”.
Absolute fact. Black crime will never be dealt with because we can’t have an honest discussion about what segment of society is committing 80% of violent crime

You are the pussy who thinks crime can’t be stopped. What’s your solution? More money? Better schools? Snap benefits?

Crime is historically low in NYC currently
NYC 2026
quote:
Police Commissioner Jessica S. Tisch today announced that the NYPD delivered the fewest murders and shooting incidents for the first quarter of the year in recorded history. During the first three months of 2026, there were 54 murders in New York City, beating the previous all-time low of 60 murders set in 2018. The city recorded 139 shooting incidents in the first quarter, tying the all-time low of 139 set in 2025, the safest year in recorded history for gun violence.
Look at this national data
quote:
Looking at changes in violent offenses, the rate of reported homicides was 21% lower in 2025 than in 2024 in the 35 study cities providing data for that crime, representing 922 fewer homicides. There were 9% fewer reported aggravated assaults, 22% fewer gun assaults, and 2% fewer domestic violence incidents last year than in 2024. Robbery fell by 23% while carjackings (a type of robbery) decreased by 43%.
When nationwide data for jurisdictions of all sizes is reported by the FBI later this year, there is a strong possibility that homicides in 2025 will drop to about 4.0 per 100,000 residents. That would be the lowest rate ever recorded in law enforcement or public health data going back to 1900, and would mark the largest single-year percentage drop in the homicide rate on record.
And this
quote:
Major US cities overall experienced a steep drop in violent crime last year, according to a statistical analysis released by the Major Cities Chiefs Association.
The analysis reflects an overall downward trend in recent years, after violent crime spiked during the Covid-19 pandemic, according to year-end statistics compiled by the FBI through 2024.
The most recent Major Cities Chiefs Association survey, which was made up of statistics compiled from 67 of 68 responding law enforcement agencies and released earlier in February, shows homicides were down just over 19% last year. The report also showed that robbery was down almost 20%, rape was down almost 9% and aggravated assault was down almost 10% last year compared to 2024, the statistics show.
The report is just the latest crime statistical analysis that shows declines in violent crimes in 2025. It joins a report from the Council on Criminal Justice that was released in January that also showed steep declines in homicides and other crimes.

Hey chucklefrick no one cares about a graph about overall violent crime in the entire US while we see increased violence from one segment of the population on a daily basis. Go ahead and take this position but know that the majority of people don’t agree with you.

Here’s the other thing.
I don’t give a shite how much crime is down. There should never be gang shootings at the mall. I don’t accept that and why should I.
The mall used to be a safe place and it’s not. Your graph about the overall violent crime in the entire US is not going to make anyone feel safer at the mall. So stick that straight up your arse.

SFP still seems to enjoy it, but I have no interest in going back and forth with someone so stupid that they can’t keep up with their own arguments. You have a free shot at a reply. Make it a good one
Posted on 4/23/26 at 4:35 pm to SlowFlowPro
Hey I think I’ll go hang out at the mall now and ride around north Baton Rouge because SFP said the violent crime rate is the entire US is lower than 30 years ago!

You're making the same argument Every town for fun safety makes after school shootings.
Crazy stuff happens. It sucks and I feel bad for the victims. But you don't make general or National policy based on extreme outlier events. No matter how terrible they are. There's a reason why they're outliers and statistically insignificant.
