Heard that on the 6:00 pm news.
Back in April WBRZ reported that 12,951 were needed.
Who wants to put them over the top?
LINK
They have until Novemver 27 to finish.

There's always a portion that gets thrown out.

It’s a petition to put the initiative on a ballot for a vote.
I will never understand why people are so threatened by that.

Certain folks don't want influential folks down at City Hall to know they signed.

It’s going to pass this time.

They need 13,000, with a substantial safety factor.

I'd shoot high too.
Hopefully some folks will come out of the closet and get us way over the top.
I wonder what Election Day the group is targeting? That's a big factor.
We had enough signatures last time when the petition was turned in, but the withdrawals killed us.

I just don’t see this happening. I don’t see it even getting on the ballot at this point. Maybe I’ll be dead wrong.

Old numbers in the WBRZ report?

They likely have more and are underreporting it.
They need to get Grary Chambers and Broome to go act a fool at some more council meetings to push them over the top.

That's not going to be very hard to do.

I’m no Broome fan but even she is smart enough to stay away from the City Council meetings.
