Trump should have pardoned your father

I'm guessing that interview took place in 1994 or so? When he mentions the "murder down in Florida", I assume he's talking about a news crew that captured the murder of a woman by her ex-husband at the gravesite of their daughter who committed suicide.
LINK
My father in law died in 1993 and is buried like 20 feet from where that incident happened.

Don't forget Room 38 as well!
And yes...I would NOT have created this post if it was NOT the 38th Anniversary.

God bless you and your family.
Your Dad loved you so much that he was willing to do what ever it took to protect you from this monster.
I am sure you and he had conversations about it. He knew beforehand that he was likely facing jail time for what he was about to do.
He might have been shot by police himself. That is a hero.
You seem to have moved on and have lived a good life and for that I am sure he was very thankful.

Your dad did what any dad would do. Sorry you had to go through what you went through but your dad was a hero. Simple as that.

I remember my mother making us say a prayer for you. I remember how money those BRZ guys of that era were. Ed had so much adrenaline in that report, I would have too. RIP Ed and John. Is Jay still around? Dude had great hair, lol. I remember being proud of you when you were ballin at Woodlawn and I've been proud of the way you've conducted yourself ever since. Childhood sexual trauma with this added on top is not an easy draw. Prayers for that depraved man's soul, I totally get your Pops, and I'm glad you've had a good life and others have learned from your experience. Well done, Jody, even if the OT sometimes puts you on roast for this or that.

I remember this very well. Came very close to taking lessons from that man. Had a friend, Mike Gum, that I think was either a student or was going to be one that was getting me interested.

Courage to do what most people only say they will do. A hero to me

God grants absolution for certain transgressions, and I do sincerely believe that act is one of them. IMO righteous justice such as this is all too rare in today's world.

I remember seeing it live and I was 12 yrs old at the time, just got home from school. I respected the hell out of your Dad for it. True act of love and courage imo.

In the early 2000’s, I was talking about this case with someone in court in New Orleans, and was overheard by a friend of mine, a federal prosecutor by the name of Abram McGull. Abe said, what do you know about that case, and I said that my family knew the Plauche’s and just that we had seen it on the news. That’s when my friend Abe revealed that he had been the cameraman at Channel 2 who captured the event on video!

I will never not watch that video anytime anyone posts it anywhere on anything. It's the single greatest example of a father who's not putting up with anybody's bullshite that I've ever seen.
Just curious, in the BR Airport, this area is up the escalator and then to the left, correct?
The American side? Or the Delta side?

Your father is a hero to many.
Was it someone from BRZ that tipped him off?
