houses should not be pushing religion

1. A house does not push anything
2. They are coming to their door, asking for free s***. He gave it to them!

Also, it's partially the homeowner's fault because

That father is setting a great example for his kids. Do not be tolerant of those who think or worship differently

Bad look on your part.

But houses should not be pushing religion though trick-or-treat handouts.

Houses are building structures and cannot push anything. If you are concerned about what your child may receive as a treat then you need to keep your child home. I would not come to your house and create a seen because you didn't give my child a bible verse.

That poor kid is going to be screwed up, if not already.

I don't care if people are out spreading the gospel. It's just not a strangers' place to do with your kids like this. I am not upset by it, but it's weird.

Have you considered not letting your kids participate in a religious holiday since you are so concerned they might be exposed to religious material?

I love being pious! I support the person pushing his religion.

You don’t like it don’t take your kid out looking for free candy.

BTW, if more Bibles were given away our country would be in a hell if a lot better shape than it presently is.

They are "recovering"? I'm all for them giving out Bible tracts if they want, but let's not act like that guy getting pissy equates to cancer, some sort of natural disaster, etc.

This is modern atheism. They are offended by the idea of religion and must be protected from it.

how about quotes from the Quran?

Well, then I'd have two choices.

1 Read it and then teach my kid the truth about Islam, the Quran, and Mohammed.

2 Throw it away.

It's not that hard.

When you walk up to my door and ask for a hand out, I'm going to give you one. The contents of that is up to me.

We've done this before at our hose. Just a single new testament verse. But we didn't do it this year. Coulda been me.

You know I was talking in the general sense.

This one instant of a parenting acting a fool doesn't invalidate that.
