Maybe someone can answer a question.

Why didn't Japan surrender after Hiroshima?

no, but the narrative that the USA are always the good guys is just factually incorrect given that we obliterated 3 cities for no legitimate military reason.

Did they surrender after the 1st bomb?

Nope. And that tells me they weren't ready to surrender at all.

We bombed them once, they didn't surrender.

What makes you think that no bombs would have generated a peaceful surrender?

If anything, the bombs justified their future use more often. Just compare the thriving exuberant nation of Japan today to the countries of conflict we have not dropped a nuke on since then to see the varying outcomes of their respective societies.

So we actually did the Japanese a favor? Nice

And you're qualified to make this statement how?

I mean I've seen some armchair quarterbacking on this forum, but damn son.

Yeah, I remember reading somewhere that every purple heart that's been awarded since WW2 was minted for the invasion of Japan.

sending aid to the allied forces does not count as involved. Involved means we, as a united nation, decided to start killing mother frickers with our armed forces.

their arse had already been beaten. We beat their arse then knifed them when they were on the ground.

I'm not questioning the retaliation, i'm questioning the knifing.
