I spent a few years in Angola not long after the civil war ended and traveled around the place more than your average ex-pat. It was easy to see how naturally beautiful the place could be, beaches, waterfalls, etc. Old pictures of Luanda along the bay show how nice it once was, especially in the 1960’s. There’s some pretty spectacular beaches and isles there that could be very special if Angola wasn’t overrun with corruption. I still have pics somewhere of a 5 day road trip we did over the Xmas and NYE holidays. Great time. We camped out in tents on a beach near Lobito for NYE. They water was filled with phytoplankton and the beach was glowing like a Michael Jackson video. Not my photos but it looked something like this.

Haiti having to pay $30B (in today's money) over 120 years to France surely didn't help its situation in terms of growing.

I standby what I said earlier. No amount of money can make a difference here. We can fool ourselves into thinking that this is an issue of not having enough money, or education…. Etc. In America we pour infinite resources into “oppressed” communities. No one ever looks at the return on that money. I don’t have to see an excel sheet filled with information. I can drive through all of these areas and see for myself that no amount of money or resources can make a difference here.

Look at the blue cities in the US, there is your answer. Some cultures are not capable of self-governance, it is cruel to let them try.

OP had to sleep at a hotel tonight because his wife kicked him out to play with her African man.

We can’t compare the blue cities in the US who are dots on the landscape compared to entire countries, where functional society is the dot

Those African countries that were colonies (especially British colonies) are all better off than those that were not. Same goes for the rest of the world.

To be blunt, one of my biggest fears for the future of the USA is that blacks generally suck at running things and will take more and more government positions as minority populations increase.

No, large portions of the populations were killed off due to horrible mismanagement and outright brutality. There were multiple colonies that at their outset had a 30-50 percent population decrease.

The percentage of the US population that is African-American has been remarkably consistent for the last half century.

I think that Baton Rouge, Nola, Detroit, Baltimore, and Washington DC are all doing very well actually. They have certainly gotten better since the minorities have taken over.

We can only hope that we will be allowed our own version of wakanda (Haiti) where we live.

What’s the violent crime rate there compared to deep blue urban centers?

In statistics, an outlier is a data point that differs significantly from other observations.[1][2] An outlier may be due to a variability in the measurement, an indication of novel data, or it may be the result of experimental error; the latter are sometimes excluded from the data set.[3][4] An outlier can be an indication of exciting possibility, but can also cause serious problems in statistical analyses.

Do a plot county-by-county of %black vs. any economic measure.

WV is screwed because 50 years ago welfare was introduced which keeps poor people from having to relocate when jobs leave.

Its the same issue as the inner city, except the white folks in WV are not nearly as violent and hateful.
