Yes, Angola under Portuguese rule was the greatest place in the history of the planet with French West Africa a close second.

We should look into this and consider colonizing Louisiana to see if that shithole can come back.

No, they were better off doing their own thing with zero outside interference. Their culture and traditions don't have to be like ours.

Much of the same areas are still under colonialism by the Chinese, but they just don't know it.

China owns most of their governments because those small nations cannot repay the loans that were "given" to them by the Chinese for infrastructure deals, and now China owns them after they default.

They soulless Maoists still strip mine the land of all its vast resources, but they also don't give a Yuan one for government and societal structure like the French and Dutch and other Western powers did.

Whether you like it or not, European colonialism works for the uncivilized lands.

trying to remember who said it, but the quote I always think of in reference to black business ownership and black communities in the 20s to the 60s is:

the worse they treated us, the better we did for ourselves
the more they give us, the worse we do to ourselves

Doesn't matter. They're still going to blame whitey in the end.

Colonialism worked in the Americas and Australia and New Zealand because the native population relative to the land mass was small. It did not take long for European populations to become the largest group. In Africa and Asia the European population was never going to become the dominant group. Rhodesia and South Africa were minority white. The US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand became majority white via natural growth. That was never going to happen in Africa.

Op, can’t get over the fact that his wife cheated on him with an African man. Hence his constant obsession of Africa topics.

for most of the people yes, there were some rulers who were especially brutal(I think it was Leopold and the dutch) but for most of the African people, they probably learned more under white people then there own

It's not the job of white people to teach people in Africa. Let people govern themselves and do things at their own rate and in their own way. No reason for white people to rule and take care of non-white people.
