My favorite, there was even one earlier in the thread, are the people who say this was a CIA gun deal gone bad. Right. Because the CIA has no better place, in a state that is 90% abandoned desert, to do a secret gun deal. Yep, they are going to tote a couple dozen rifles (ones you can buy at a sporting good store) up to a hotel suite to sell them. That must be it!

Does virginia tech have any memorials, etc. up in relation to their mass killing that occurred there? I'm most certain its not mentioned to high school seniors on their college tour trips

I don’t get the cheated in life angle. He was a millionaire due to smart real estate investments. He gambled but still had a huge nest egg. A week prior to the shootings he wired $100k overseas to his “girlfriend” to get a place to live.

i think about this a lot. it was probably just a "typical" bitter person... but it just doesn't feel right.

There are 2 conspiracy theories I've heard, one is very simple:

1. Was a left wing nut job who wanted to kill Trump supporters at a country music conert

The second one is super complicated

2. The floor above on Mandalay Bay is privately owned by a Saudi royal. There was some Saudi prince in town. When the shooting starts there is security footage of a Saudi (the prince) being escorted out of a casino with an entourage of armed guards. Crazy stuff. There are reports of other shootings. Apparently the angle goes that some faction of Saudis were there to assassinate the prince. Bear in mind at this time Trump was working deep in roads to ally with the Saudis. And a week or two after this happens there were tons of people who were arrested for corruption in Saudi Arabia, including people opposed to the prince who was trying to be assassinated. I can't remember a whole lot but it is deep about that, how they tried to schedule a hit on their prince and it got all messed up so their cover was to frame Paddock, killed a bunch of Americans, and escaped. And the fall out from Americans realizing a bunch of Saudis killed a bunch of Americans and wanting war with them would be nuclear.

The guns actually were bought at sporting goods stores, with his own credit cards, and required background check for each purchase, that’s the classic mark of a illegal “CIA gun running operation”!
