Further, you didn't consult me on the timing of your family events. Your family events are all about me!!!

While simultaneously shitting on millennials for being self centered, but I digress...

Or they don't give a shite about one football game. No one is forcing you to care or go.

this. I could understand if LSU had a legit shot at beating Bama. But this shite is laughable this year. I'd go to the wedding, get free food and drinks and avoid watching LSU get skull drug in Tuscaloosa.

Allowing the fiance to pick a wedding date on a fall Saturday means he's already a massive beta. I can understand if it's the open date but you knew damn well what happens on the first two Saturdays of November.

frick it. I'm not going.

Or he's a rational adult whose life doesn't revolve around a college sport...

Why would anyone down here get married that day? Dumb.

My Bama coworker and her husband have a wedding to attend. She said her husband is PISSED

Growing up in South Louisiana, you don't have weddings during grinding and football season.

Not the same scenario but a similar theme (wedding date/time/expense awareness).

My sister-in-law had here SECOND wedding in Cozumel. She (and my wife) expected us and my kids to all attend. Between airfare/accommodations/etc., I was out over $10K for a second marriage. That is complete insensitive BS.

OK, I feel better getting that off my chest. Sorry for the thread jack.

Save yourself from the misery and don’t watch the game. You know it’s going to be a massacre.

This is why the SO and I were married in the dead of summer. Nearly our entire guest list, even those living across the country, showed up because there was nothing else going on.

I actually can't think of one thing more enjoyable than watching L6U lose to Bama.
