You will no doubt have more fun with free food, free booze, and friends than watching LSU get skull drug by Bama.

I feel this way for any Saturday in the fall. Since the start of college football season this year I've had 4 weddings to go to, all on saturdays.

Legitimate vent. That is also ridiculous.

This is why the SO and I were married in the dead of summer

When planning our wedding, we were meeting with the venue and they told us the nest open spots they had were three Saturday slots in November open and the next Saturday opening wasn't until the following April. My fiance instantly put a deposit down on the April date.

She knew the score. She wasn't about to miss watching an LSU game for the wedding.

They don't prob give a shite about the football game.
But many of their guests do.
That's the fricking point.

Don't act like for a second bitches don't care how many people show up.

These threads are sad. Very similiar to the threads where guys brag about not letting their wives talk while watching football and gorging on fried food.

Would not go and if my significant other was making me, I'd probably be single by kickoff.

Got married recently and had open bar, but not the game on. Then again it was the Troy game, so maybe I did them a favor

Only weddings that occur in the fall are when the dude is a cuck, and the chick wears the pants in the relationship.
Usually it's the girls way of challenging everyone bc of the ego boost she gets when people still show up.

My gf's friend is getting married Saturday and this is the main reason I'm not super upset about having to go. Plus I'll be able to watch it at the reception.

Lucky for you the wedding is at sonic and you can air your grievances with the bride and groom there.

I got married on TSIO because F the Vols. Georgia was playing LSU that year, so the Tiger fans weren't happy as well. Didn't care, less mouths to feed and drink. Drove away people I didn't really want at the wedding anyway.

Got married out in the mountains, leaves were pretty spectacular that year, made for some great photos. Tennessee and LSU lost that day, no one gives a shite about those games.

Life? As in a 60+% chance the marriage won't last? That life?

I'll tell you what no one cares about....10k dresses, flowers, decorations, limos, etc etc etc

People want to smile and be happy for the pair , dance, drink, and watch the game.

Anyone who says differently is a f'ing liar
