With all due respect, people getting married on November 4 obviously don't want anybody there.

Or they don't give a shite about one football game. No one is forcing you to care or go.

They either don't care about football, or their family failed in teaching them not to get married in the fall.

Sister got married on a Saturday during the fall, but had both an open bar and the game on, but then again she was raised right.

No shite for anybody in LA or TX. First Saturday in November has been the LSU-Bama game for at least the last 10-15 years. It's also the opening day of deer and duck season. In fact, I really don't know why anyone would get married or have kids during football season.

You would have more fun at the wedding than watching the LSU game this weekend.

Have an upvote. I've had two instances of people doing this on the Georgia/Auburn weekend. I would have skipped their nuptials over a game against the Sisters of the Poor, much less against our oldest rival. I'm with you.

They picked November 4th because they know LSU has little to no shot at beating Alabama. All other Saturday's LSU has a chance, but not this Saturday

Yea, a college football game is way more important than those trivial life events.

They are just doing you a favor of not having to witness the slaughter.

No you need to have kids from like March till July. August is about the last acceptable month to either get married or have a kid.
