What is it they think this will accomplish other than costing them money? The libs that support anti-gun stuff aren't shopping at Walmart and aren't going to start, and now they'll lose out on sales to people this will piss off. What idiot comes up with this stuff?

Good. One more reason to never darken the door of a Walmart, as if I actually needed another one.

$10 says that the person in charge of this decision is someone who hates guns and wants to “take a stand” regardless of what it does to profits.

If only they enacted this rule a few weeks ago, those poor people would not have been killed. Sad.

I'd imagine that WalMart has looked into this and determined that doing this won't cost them much of anything.

Didn't the ones in the BR city limits stop selling handgun ammo some time ago? I know that I went in the one on O'Neal several years ago for some 9mm and all they had was shotgun shells.
The locations in burbs are different I believe.

Maybe they just don't want to be a part of the problem anymore, while also not being part of the solution.

I'm sure it wasn't researched at all to determine its impact on the bottom line.
