They were the cheapest but far on .38 rounds. I don't know why those can be so high

Ah so Walmart can't be forced to sell guns to gun owners but a bakery can be forced to make cakes to sell to LGBTQABCDEFHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWYZ even if they don't agree with it? Makes sense.

Some interesting replies in this thread, the OT is a fickle bitch. Who knew purchasing your handgun ammo at Walmart made you automatically LP redneck trash.

I have to order my ammo online and no one will ship it to me even though it’s perfectly legal to ship to the city I live in. There is also not a single brick and mortar store that sells ammo.

Know what this does? Makes me buy in bulk. When I buy ammo I buy in excess of 1000 rds at a time. Great job city gov.

Also Walmart doesn’t carry any good ammo. Academy has always been better for quality ammo while shipping for free.

This decision will hurt the rural folks more as Walmart May be the only store in town for sporting goods as they have forced most of the Mom and pops to close. Other than a couple pawn shops that sell guns locally I have a 30 mile ride to the nearest true sporting goods store.

Who’d ever think Walmart would give in.

I guess it’s not totally shocking when some of the more progressive democrat candidates are now full on discussing a total gun confiscation. (See Beto’s recent interview on CNN)

Me. The current CEO has been banging the "GUNS R TEH BAD!!11" drum for quite some time now.

The latest shooting in Texas just gave him the ammo he needed to ram his personal ideology through the Board.

Pun intended of course.

Rights as Americans also extend to businesses. It's their right to do as they chose regarding firearms. However, it's also our right as American citizens to shop elsewhere. That's what I'll be doing.

Patiently waiting for the announcement they will discontinue the sale of all opioids in their pharmacies, and fried chicken in the deli, and sodas in the grocery, since they cause massive amounts of death as well.

This. They don’t even carry .44 special ammo that I’ve ever found. And I conceal carry so this new policy doesn’t affect me at all.

I've always liked their Federal 9mm and .223 for plinking. It's not like I can't get it cheaper online though. Oh well.

What’s great about this is the local gun shops that had been losing business to Walmart will reap the rewards of this move.

Cool. Now what does that have to do with Walmart?

Not the same thing. No where in discrimination laws does it say it's illegal to discriminate based on the 2nd amendment.
