Well that’s likely not true, and I wonder if she maybe had to sign a conduct code at some point. There were a few kids in my HS that we’re kicked out for certain activities over the summer because they “represent the school 24/7.”
At a public school? This is a horrificly bad take and you should be embarrassed

I would call losing SGA president life altering as it could easily make the difference in getting into some colleges.
If true that this nut job principal used Christianity as a reason to punish this girl for off campus activities, he shouldn’t work in a public school again. It’s Louisiana though, so he may get a promotion out of it.

“and her endorsement for a scholarship was retracted after a video surfaced on social media of her dancing at a homecoming after-party.”
Given that this thread involves something Louisiana high school related I figured you might be able to make an intelligent post.
Clearly that was a stupid thought.

I feel like there are a few people within the Livingston Parish School System who aren’t going to have an awesome Friday.

Nope. By all accounts all over SM, this is a well respected young lady and not your stereotypical hoochie or drama queen. Even several of her former teachers weighed in on her behalf.

I remember hearing about them forcing kids to shave facial hair and such in the not too distant past--way beyond when it seemed acceptable to still do so.

According to Timonet, the principal told Kaylee that her actions went against the Bible, and questioned her faith.
Live look at the Livingston Parish Emergency Fund in a few months:
And to top it off, she’s gonna get all the accolades back except it will now come with the principal getting fired and the entire parish school board looking like retards.
The fact that they don’t know how the internet works in LP is fitting.

From one of her teachers on FB:

Kaylee Timonet was hands down one of the best students I’ve ever taught at Walker High School. Respectful, a hard worker, student of the year material.
Can’t say I’m terribly shocked by Jason. Bro has a god complex that would put even God to shame. I have a feeling he’ll end up awarding her the “I should have stayed in my lane and business” scholarship at the end of all this. ??

Hints why it’s hard to find an attorney to even take a case like this.
i have no idea if this person's statement has any accuracy, but they don't know the difference between "hints" and "hence"...they also don't know that the phrase "hence why" is a redundancy...

The student is owning the school tmmw lol.
The principal and maybe vice-principal……more than likely won’t show up.
If I was an old lady, I’d hiss at them.

This is a child at a private event with no affiliation to the school. That’s the only side that fricking matters.
Huh? The accused isn’t allowed to defend himself?
Everyone’s believing the girl, and maybe she’s telling the truth, but it’s also possible she’s not.

No, it’s not. What a fricking idiotic comment.

He has been called to comment on at least one FB group he posts on. However he has been silent on the matter.
My question is WHY does he care so much.
He is the one whose actions are inconsistent with Christianity, if what we are hearing is true

I mean, it’s certainly possible he hasn’t commented simply because he’s guilty. Or, maybe he’s not guilty but the school board lawyers are telling him not to say a word.
