So you all are saying that the cries of racism are in fact justified because their justification is that black people don't tip?
If they are in fact closed for that reason it is racist whether they believe their justification is legit or not.

It's not racist to close because you won't be making any money.

The Essence crowd has gotten worse over the years. It uses to be nothing but rich black professionals but now a lot of ghetto trash has tagged along.

I don't know about that. The people that actually attend the concerts and seminars and shite at the convention center and dome seemed like good people last time I was in the area a few years ago.
Went with a friend to some stupid arse white rock concert at House of Blues.

Now you will have some element of the local ghetto trash who will block traffic on Canal St. cruising for the hot chocolate poontain

Well I think we can agree this is racist. The only argument is if it is a good business decision.

If it is a rational and good business decision how is it racist?

To not be racist you seem to be claiming it is necessary to deny reality and common sense.

You don't believe closing due to the amount of black people in the area is arguably racist? Come on now

You believe that the business should open when neither it nor it's staff can make a profit?

You think they are just closing because of the black boogeymen?

Have you ever waited tables?

Funny that the folks here that would normally come chastise everyone on the OT for being racist are all quiet like "Yeah, they pretty much got us on this one..."

They can and no one is stopping them from closing.
Also in America they can be criticized for doing so.
