re: Walk-Ons accused of being racist for closing during Essence Fest

Was at the Walk Ons in Baton Rouge on Burbank Friday and they had signs saying they were gonna be closed this weekend as well for renovations...Essence Fest crowd really gets around.
What does 12/5 stand for?
Thanks for all the suggestions. So far Martinque on the patio looks the most appealing. This isn't a first date in a traditional sense. We meet during Mardi Gras through a mutual friend and hung out again for St. Paddy's day and now talk daily. So it won't be so much about getting to know each other but rather just having a good time. This will be the first time we get together that isn't based around boose and beads. It will be our first diner date technically. I don't live in New Orleans and she does and wanna take her somewhere decent. So port o call isn't going to make the short list this time.
At Martinque are jeans and and a nice button up polo acceptable. Our plans are to go meet up with friends afterwards and go out so I don't feel like getting to dressed up. Someone was wonder our age we are both in our upper 20's.
Thanks again for the advice. If anyone can come up with anything else let me know.

First Date Options In Nola
Posted by TigerByte on 4/5/11 at 8:57 am
What are some good first date options in NOLA around uptown or the warehouse district and causal dress (jeans and a nice shirt). At this point Le Crepe Nanou is a no go. Looking for some other options.
Thanks in advance.

re: Genetically Modified Foods Article...

Penn and Teller had an episode for the bullshite series that discussed genetically modified foods. It's been sometime ago but the basis of it was that without genetically modified food there would be a lot more starving people.
Also, to me it eating genetically modified food would be a lot better then eating food thats been pumped with steroids and antibiotics and such.

I wish they would make it if runs the same play or plays over and over again, the defensive players will catch onto it and have a greater chance of making a play.

Another glitch is if you have monkeys, you can throw a grenade and go next to it to pick it up and instead of hitting R2 hit L2 and it will turn it into a monkey. You gotta be careful though, if your next to the grenade and it goes off it will kill you.

Saw them preform on the Today show one time and it was absolutely horrific.
Me too, as well as Oregon's neon yellow socks
Anyone got any good strategies?
re: If Mettenberger signs with LSU and becomes the starting......

I think we'll have a 3 qb rotation. We'll just slip Met in behind Lee. Gotta keep things fair.

Auburn will be a one hit wonder and fade back to where they came from.

I thought Budweiser distributors were only allowed to distribute Bud products. Is St. Arnolds owned by Budweiser?
Looked like a 1/4 of the upper deck is empty to me

So on NCAA...

I'm playing a guy online, we go into double overtime , he's on defense first and goes four and out. He quits and I don't get a win??

I don't have Madden yet but on NCAA they have a one button mode. I think when your picking teams and setting everything up you can choose if you want to play regular or one button mode.
re: Oil has began washing ashore in Destin

The tar balls where cleaned up last night and the beach is pretty clean today. We left this morning, planned, not because of tar balls. On the way out, the guy on the radio said 6 miles of beach were effected, and they had 280 people cleaning them up last night. Also said there was potential for more to come ashore depending on the weather. Also mentioned there was a health advisory issued for the ocean.

We are staying at The Cresent, basically across the street from the outlet mall on the beach.
