Walgreens Covid Testing is a Joke

I was exposed to someone who was recently diagnosed with Covid19. I'm not experiencing any symptoms, but I thought I'd get tested so that I can isolate if the test comes back positive.
I sign up for the drive thru testing at my local Walgreens. They email me a confirmation number which I print out as per their instructions which say to pull up to the window with your window closed and hold the confirmation number up to the closed window and await further instructions.
I do as instructed when I get there, and the lady at the window has no clue what I'm doing. She says she doesn't know what the confirmation number is for. I roll my window down and explain that I'm here for my scheduled Covid test. She disappears for 5 minutes and the pharmacist comes to the window. The first question I'm asked is if I will be in town for awhile. I explain that I live here. I'm told that they don't have my information in their system (what information? They never even asked for my name?). I told them I had a confirmation number. They changed their story and said their system was down and to call back in about one hour.
I dunno, I got the idea that these people had never done a test for anyone as hard as that was to believe, and lost all confidence in the idea of getting a test done from there.
At this point, I think I'll wait until I start showing symptoms.

Just find an urgent care location that offers the rapid test and go there. You'll have results in 15 minutes, which is enough time for your eyes to stop involuntarily crying after having your brain tickled.

You probably went to the wrong Walgreens

No, that's not dumb. That's responsible. What if he is around others in his family with serious health issues? He needs to know if he has it.

Well I don't want to get Covid by waiting to get testing for Covid in an Urgent Care

Do this. The odds of spreading the COVID when you don’t have any symptoms is extremely low.
The tests aren’t reliable anyway.

My kid had to get tested on Wednesday and his pediatrician told me the test (which was negative) is 90% accurate.

Well if you say so, I guess we gotta trust you BobABooey on matters of public health.

I was exposed to an older gent for about 30 mins and he died 3 days later due to COVID. At the time I visited him (30 mins) the family said he was negative. I waited 11 days with not symptoms but decided to get tested. Negatory. Maybe I lucked out or the death due to COVID was BS.

Your state's health department isn't running any testing sites?

This isn’t directed at you Morbid, because I see it all the time. We bitch when the lower intellects leech off the government, and we also bitch when they get jobs and we have to deal with them. Guilty of it myself.

I get tested once a week just because I like to get my brain stem tickled.

Wife got a test at Walgreen’s last week, and it was definitely a joke, or we’re being played by all other medical professionals. They gave her a swab and said insert it a half inch up your nostril and swab 4-5 times, then do the same to the other nostril. A Half inch? What about the brain tickler test?

it's one thing dealing with them to get a 2 piece with fries.
it's entirely different trusting them to administer a test regarding your health.

I wouldn’t get tested even with symptoms.
