The article didn't say the races of the people involved, but my guess is that the teacher is white and the student is black. And go fricking figure that the white liberal teacher is trying to "teach" the black kid about race and trying to make something more out of a pretty innocuous picture.

Good for the student, even if he was doing it on purpose to annoy the teacher.

That's because white progressives feel they need to make sure black people understand how oppressed they are. Black people just aren't smart enough to comprehend the depths of their oppression, so for the white progressive, it's up to them to instruct these poor ignorant black people.
