You ever walk down a frozen food isle? Not saying they don’t have more wheels, but there are more doors than you originally/maybe thought of.
I figured the fatasses on mobility scooters loading up on ice cream offset that.

If we can consider the hinges to be a wheel, this thread is over.

Then blankets, covers, tops and lids are doors.

Doors win.

But the doors and wheels negate each other in most automobiles. In fact, I could technically count the rear door on my SUV as a 5th. So, more doors than wheels.

I seriously doubt you have more wheels than your entire block has doors. I have at least 65 doors in my house and vehicles (and don’t have a fleet of vehicles or a huge house). Most personal vehicles have five tires and four or five doors, so that’s close to a wash. Cabinets, refrigerators, gun cabinets, furniture all add up.

ETA: at least 90 doors. I forgot 20 in bathrooms between cabinets, showers and furniture in there alone. There may be way more tires, but hotels, offices and homes have lots of doors.

Every one of those Walmarts where a single store may have 30-40 frozen food isle doors, at least 10-30 Semi 18-wheeler trucks brought JUST THE STUFF to fill those doors, much less the rest of the store.

They probably are also the largest door manufacturer in the world too.

Let's think about an average car, 4 wheels plus a spare. Average of less than 4 doors,
How in the hell do you figure this? There are way more 4 door cars than 2 door, plus trunk, hood, gas cover should all be considered doors. And you could make an argument for all the various lids and caps, especially if they are hinged.

I think there are more wheels in the world, (tons of components in an engine that would be considered wheels, steering wheels, etc.) but your definition of door is extremely narrow.

There are a lot more than frozen food isle doors. There are easily well over 100 doors in a Wal-Mart, probably 100s. Ovens, refrigerators (there are probably twenty refrigerators in the checkout area), freezers, bakery racks, offices, bathrooms, auto shop area, entrances, exits, bathroom stalls, furniture in the store, side exits, bay doors for merchandise deliveries. I’d guess there are more tires in the world, but there are a lot of doors.

Each hot wheel has 4 wheels. Most have zero doors. Same with most toy automobiles and trains. If toys are included. Not even close. Wheels

Agreed. For any special door, you can come up with wheels to match.

Feet are metaphorical wheels so add another 15.8 billion to the total. And billons upon billions more if you count animals. I'm sure somebody's said "look at the wheels on that goat/horse/dog/cat, etc..." so animals have to be considered.

Ok then. Your mouth, eyes, and ears are metaphorical doors to the universe. Checkmate.

I have one door and 15 wheels in my office. And that does not count the wheels in my printer.

My house has about 25 doors and 37 cabinet, refrigerator or oven doors, and I have two cars, two wheeled chairs, and 9 bikes. That makes 36 wheels at home (Two bikes have training wheels).

Total: 51 wheels and 63 doors (My office has one). Close call.

You clearly didn't read the rest of the post you replied to, much less the rest of my posts. I mean I listed all the same exact "doors" on a car that you did immediately after the part that you quoted and bolded.

I even argued that zippers on pants are doors. I think my definition of door is pretty broad.

No hot wheels or legos? No other toy cars?

My kid is easily over 500 wheels between hot wheels and other toy cars, almost all of which have no operable doors. He loves hot wheels so that's probably higher than a normal kid, but it's still a LOT.
