Auditory hallucinations, bizarre delusions, disorganized thoughts, suicidal ideations, racing thoughts, pressured speech, grandiosity, paranoia>>> dragging a fish behind a boat.

Sometimes I wonder if you're actually retarded. That's my fricking point. Why the frick would you drag an animal behind you as described in the OP? It's equally pointless. It was recreation and that is deplorable.

You don't think dragging an animal to death isn't indicative of several of those things?

It takes a mentally ill person to say "It would be fun to tie this trapped deer to the back of my truck and drive until it's unrecognizable"

He either did it for recreation or he did it on impulse. Both are disturbing

No you weren't you blithering idiot. You hit big saltwater fish in the head. Not cats.

I wouldn't do it, but I wouldn't wring my purse about it like some people are doing. I'm saying it's not that much worse than anything else that happens during fishing.

You're the one who lacks reading comprehension.

Not at all.

First, it wasn't a deer, it wasn't a mammal. There are differences and differences in how we perceive them. Secondly, I didn't see where anyone said anything like that.

Between Floridians dragging sharks around and McElwain screwing the rest to death, Florida won't have any sharks left.

The American Psychiatric Association considers animal cruelty as one of the diagnostic criteria of conduct disorder.

Are you saying there is a difference between dragging a fish to death vs dragging a deer to death? Such a snowflake position

Should jail these idiots for posting this shite. Bad enough they did it, but posting it on social media is beyond stupid. Lock them up for that alone.

One criteria doesn't make a diagnosis. Conduct disorder is not a mental illness and it is a diagnosis for children.

Absolutely. They're captured differently as well. Deer are shot and killed as quickly and humanely as possible. Fish are hooked, landed and tossed into the ice chest where they slowly suffocate. I'm not certain what was "snowflake" about my answer. It seems to have been quite the opposite.

the worst is when people get side tracked and start arguing with someone (most likely) they don't even know.

then its just about saving face in front of other people you most likely don't know.

icking it into swallowing a barbed metal hook baited with its food. Yanking it from its briny home for hundreds of feet while it fights you with every ounce of its being the entire time. When you have it above water, where it struggles to breathe, you stab it with an even bigger hook to get it in the boat. And once you have it in the boat, you bash it in the head with a bat until it stops moving. So you're okay with all that, because that's fricking fishing. But drag the fricker behind the boat and you're all

Yup, that actually sums it up. Pretty stoked you typed it all up so I wouldn't have to.

It can take hours for a bowshot deer to expire. They're often shot in the lungs and suffocate to death. It's especially bad when they are gutshot.

I don't see how you can recognize the value in killing a deer efficiently and as humanely as possible while defending some jackass dragging a shark behind a boat for fun.

If it was a dolphin would you feel differently? It just seems odd to only care based on how "cute" an animal is

Ain't gonna lie, I was expecting the dragging was at a mild cruising speed. I kind of laughed to see it at 30 knots. Those sick fricks.

Save me the god damn virtue signaling. You see, this is one of the problems with social media. shite like this comes out and for some reason people feel compelled like they should care. Or to at least appear to care.

The problem is, you don't. You really don't. Because as "heinous" as this is (and it's pretty tame by real standards) it doesn't touch the stuff that goes on daily in this world.

Chinamen eat frogs and dogs alive (and admittedly, maybe they are delicious). So you may watch Facebook video and then post about how appalled we are...but then we go about our lives, because truly, we have no fricks to give.

We are overloaded with things we are supposed to "care" about. The problem is these things we pretend to care about are dwarfed by real, actual problems that we have the power to fix or at least help.

It's like Cedric the Famous lion again. No one really cared before and no one really gave a shite after, but by golly did people sure pretend their asses off trying to show how much they did to others.

None of you who eat meat have any right to bitch about this. How an animal dies is pretty damn irrelevant. Damn shark was probably dead in a few seconds anyway.

I mean, vegans are annoying as hell but at least they are taking a (stupid and pointless) stand.

frick your virtue signaling you weak willed pantywaists.
Nevermind. It appears that you wanted to show those amateurs what real outrage looks like.

Looks like the idiots in the video have been torturing animals for a while

But FWC officials have confirmed that one of the men involved has posted numerous photos of himself abusing other animals, including protected species of fish, multiple pelicans, and at least one dog. The photos suggest that the fisherman in question, who repeatedly bragged about being one of FWC's "Most Wanted" for violating state law, should likely have been apprehended long ago.
